A Travel Sound Spa is compact enough to take with you while traveling. The main feature of it
is, it can run off of batteries as well as an AC adapter.
You may find yourself in a situation where you may not have power while traveling, or you would like to travel
light and not carry the AC adapter with you. For those two reasons alone, the battery power capability would be
very important. You should invest in some good quality rechargable batteries to cut down on the cost of buying
non-rechargable ones. The auto-off function of the Sound Spa will also help you conserve your battery charge. Most
people know how fast or slow they fall asleep, so setting the auto-off timer will cut back on power
consumption. Click here for more information!
If you are going to be traveling, it would be a good idea to see how long the Sound Spa will last on fully
charged betteries. There is not point in taking a ziplock back full of batteries that you'll never use with you.
Simply run the unit until it runs out of juice, be sure to make note of the start and end time. By the way, make
sure you do this before you go on your trip!
Alternatively, if you think that you will never have the need for batteries because you will always be somethere
near an electrical outlet, then you would be better off choosing a model that offers dual voltage (110 and 240).
You will be able to use it in the United States as well as Europe. A popular travel sound machine that is dual
voltage is the Marpac Travel Sound Conditioner, Marsona TSCI-330.
