A Travel Sound Spa is compact enough to take with you while traveling. The main feature of it
is, it can run off of batteries as well as an AC adapter.
You may find yourself in a situation where you may not have power while traveling, or you would like to travel
light and not carry the AC adapter with you. For those two reasons alone, the battery power capability would be

Alternatively, if you think that you will never have the need for batteries because you will always be somethere
near an electrical outlet, then you would be better off choosing a model that offers dual voltage (110 and 240).
